The Wau is a uniquely designed Malaysian kite that has flown many years ago. It is called 'Wau' because the shape of its wing is similar to an Arabic letter (pronounced "wow"). It is a marvelous tradition inherent to the culture of the people, especially in the Eastern States of the Malayan Peninsula.
The wax design is printed on 100% cotton fabric. It has everything you need to paint including 3 batik color dyes (from which you can mix to make other colors), 1 brush, and a pallet. The fabric is individually mounted on a cardboard frame (size is 11"L (20cm) x 12 1/4"H (40cm)) that is also an elevated painting surface.
